Get out your Dirndl & Lederhosen! Germany is coming to Grand Ledge October 14 at the Opera House from 1 pm to 10 pm. This inaugural festival honors longtime Grand Ledge residents Ernst & Barb Floeter. Join us in a celebration of Old World German traditions. Oktoberfest will provide entertainment with family oriented activities throughout the afternoon. Admission is $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased in advance for an Authentic German meal for $15 served from 4 pm to 7 pm. A la carte food will also be available including pretzels, brats and more. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available throughout the day. VIP packages are available and include admission, 2 beverages, meal and a limited edition mug for $35. Proceeds will benefit the Grand Ledge Opera House Restoration Fund, a non-profit 501(c)3 historical site. We are a private facility that rents to clients for their special events nearly every day. Many private events this year have been interrupted by photog's using the gardens & entering the building during private parties.
